She holds the Ph.D. in theology from Duke University and is the author of books including Pandemic PrayersFaithful: A Theology of Sex, Practicing Christian Doctrine: An Introduction to Thinking and Living Theologicallyand Marks of His Wounds: Gender Politics and Bodily Resurrection.
