He’s written 8 books including Knowledge by Ritual (Eisenbrauns/Penn State University), Human Rites: The Power of Rituals, Habits, and Sacraments (Eerdmans, 2019), and Biblical Philosophy: A Hebraic Approach to the Old and New Testaments (Cambridge, 2021). Before that, he was a high-school dropout, skinhead, punk rock drummer, combat veteran, IT supervisor, and pastor.
