Who is the person that Fr. Behr mentions after Maximus?
Hi Hans, if you’re able to give a minute mark we could probably help.
Just to say – these were wonderful. Thank you so much – all of you!
Thanks!
And thanks for listening!
The bit that blew me away most of all was right at the very end when Fr Behr is talking about reading Scripture vs reading historically.
Inspiration happens AS we read the text WITH the Spirit – revealing Jesus.
There’s language I’m searching for and I just can’t land on it yet.
It’s about how we… live and know… in the midst of the Trinity. How truth is what happens when we know God in relationship through the Spirit. Somehow, trinity is the essence of all reality. It’s not binary. It dismisses the mind-body paradigm entirely.
I know I’m raving. Ach. I keep thinking of “bridges”.
p.s. also I’m a huge fan of Amy Brown Hughes. And I love the increasing gender inclusivity of OnScript. It’s a strong indicator that you’re on the right track.
Thanks Reuben! Glad the Behr ep has got you all fired up!
